Tutorial #
4 - Using the Projects Tab
Overview
The Projects tab gives you a
great overview of all your existing projects, either
across all your result areas or filtered to only show
the projects of a specific result area.
Only projects and sub-projects are
displayed in the Projects tab. If you want to see
both projects and their tasks together, you need to use
the Outline tab.
The projects tab is also useful for
prioritizing existing projects or creating new projects
and/or sub-projects.

Q & A
Q: Why/when would you
use the Projects tab instead of the Outline tab?
There is no specific
reason why you need to use the Projects tab instead of
the Outline tab.
The projects tab can give
you a good overview of all your existing projects and
you can use it to give you an idea of everything that is
on your plate.
There are also convenient
navigation commands between the Projects tab and the
Tasks tab:
The project tab can also
display different views and fields, some of which are
not available in the Outline tab.
I personally spend most
of my time working from the the Tasks tab, the Weekly
Schedule tab, and the Projects tab in that order.
It all comes down to your
personal preference.
